Collection Notice

Information collected by Innovate BC under the IP Hub is subject to the Province of British Columbia’s Freedom of Information and Privacy Protection Act (FOIPPA). This information is being collected for the purpose of administering the program and will be used to administer the program and evaluate and report on program outcomes. Information collected through the various forms and tools may be disclosed to Government of British Columbia staff or program partners to carry out program functions and assess outcomes.

Innovate BC is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy identifies what information is collected about you and how it’s used by Innovate BC when you visit innovatebc.ca (the “Site”), apply to one of our programs, use any of our services, or communicate with Innovate BC.

As a Crown Agency of the Province, Innovate BC is authorized to collect your information under sections 26(c) and 26(e) for the purposes of delivering the program and section 33.2(a) and 33.2(c) to disclose your information to program partners. Your information is treated as confidential and is stored on Innovate BC’s secure data management systems, some of which may host data on servers located outside of Canada that are not under the control of Innovate BC. By submitting this application, you provide your consent for your information to be stored on servers located in Canada.
