AccelerateIP

AccelerateIP, an ElevateIP recipient, is designed to support innovative startups in BC, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut to grow and protect their ideas and intellectual assets. Led by New Ventures BC and prime collaborator Innovate BC.

B.C.’s Intellectual Property Strategy

B.C.’s Intellectual Property Strategy will build the province’s intellectual property capacity by increasing the awareness, use and protection of intellectual property by small and medium-sized enterprises. This will ultimately create the conditions that will contribute to a more sustainable and viable innovation ecosystem in B.C.

IP Assist

The National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) provides comprehensive advisory services as well as funding to help accelerate the growth of Canadian small and medium-sized businesses.

Presented by New Ventures BC and Innovate BC, this free-of-charge program is delivered over 4 sessions, each 60-90 minutes in length. By the end of this course, startups and scaleups will gain knowledge and actionable insights to align IP strategy and business strategy.
